RUTH AND MAX BLOOMQUIST
Muskegon, MI

We know it's been a long winter for some of you, but Spring is in the air and we're looking forward to everything that comes with it. The snow is all melted at our house and we've already been out cleaning up the gardens and back yard.

The summer is shaping up nicely with June and July looking particularly busy, but we hope to see you this Spring, too, if we happen to be near your neighborhood. (or if you feel like a road trip!)

This Friday April 10 we return to Ann Arbor's Crazy Wisdom Tea Room for what's always a crazy good time.

Another Spring highlight will be on May 8 as Ruth joins Ralston Bowles, Karisa Wilson, and Tommy Foster at the Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall for a songwriters event that you won't forget. (Max gets the night off but don't be surprised to see him hanging around there.)

Mother's Day, May 10 will be really special at Sleder's Family Tavern in Traverse City- make your reservation for dinner and our 4:00 show.

Festival highlight of the summer will be the Beaver Island Music Festival. Three days in July on an Island in Lake Michigan with Dan on fiddle and John on guitar? OH YEAH! Let's get on that ferry! OH, that's right! We'll be playing a set on the island ferry out of Charlevois as well as on the festival stage!

Looking forward to seeing you soon. Just check the schedule linked below for all the details.

Best,
Ruth and Max

"What a show--great musicianship, great songs, and Ruth's voice just melts over the crowd like butter on a biscuit...delicious! Let's do it again!" — Terry Grannis, Zellie's Opry House

"Turn Back A Page - Real songs with real emotions, great instrumental work, superb harmonies and one of the best female vocalists in the business (Ruth, of course!). This CD is pure listening pleasure."" — Al Kniola, Host, The Back Porch, 88.1 WVPE Public Radio

"This band has a growing devoted following here in the Midwest, but the music I heard and the performance I saw are of a caliber that deserves to be seen on the best national stages!”" — Phil Doolittle, Paint Creek Comfy Concerts
