It's May, OK?

Dear Friends,

FIRST, we want to thank all who have tuned in and supported our live-streamed Saturday night concerts on Facebook. It means the world to us that so many would take the time on a Saturday night to watch as we do what we love to do best. If you have missed the concerts because you "don't do Facebook" we want you to know that we respect that, but it looks like it might be awhile before "in person" concerts come back for us in a public way, so please remember that you don't have to "do Facebook" to watch. These shows are open to the public. You can watch them live as they happen on Saturday nights at 8:00 sharp Eastern Time at this link: https://www.facebook.com/RuthAndMaxBloomquistMusic/live_videos  No Facebook profile is required. That same link will get you to a page where all of our past Facebook concerts are archived so you can watch them at your leisure.

This message goes out on Cinco de Mayo. We congratulate and wish the best to the nation of Mexico on what amounts to their version of our own Independence Day. (How can it be May already?)

We have one semi-public outdoor concert in June. If you are near enough to Albion Michigan to attend on June 27, please contact us and we can connect you with the host of this outdoor house concert. Seating may be limited, but we have not been notified that it is sold out as yet.

We also have a couple of private outdoor and/or socially distanced events on the calendar this month and in future months, so please don't think that we're just hanging out at home grilling burgers. We do miss playing in person and are open to playing appropriate events.

In addition to our Saturday night livestreams, we have a special one coming up on Friday July 23 for the legendary listening venue, Two Way Street. While it's not up on their website yet, you can get more information about their live-streaming series here: https://twowaystreet.org/calendar/

Meanwhile, we need to start planning for 2022. If you have suggestions for a venue or concert series that we should contact, please do not hesitate to let us know. We would love to play somewhere near YOU, and YOU can help us make it happen.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for being there. We couldn't do this without YOU.

Ruth and Max
