Do you love LIVE music?

Since you're reading this, we know that you love live music, but we hope that you are supporting live music in your community year around and not just when you come out to see us play. Find a small venue or concert series that features independent musicians. They may be local to your area or touring in your area from afar, but either way these musicians and the venues that present them need your support. If you're like us, you'll find that to experience live music in these intimate spaces is just as exciting and fulfilling as a big concert in an arena or huge theater, and a lot less expensive.

We're probably preaching to the choir here. If you've seen us play a concert it was very likely in a small local venue. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Grab some friends and head out to support the LIVE music that you love.

We are playing five such venues this month, each one different, all very cool:

Friday November 6, 7:30 Live! From the Living Room. Held at Unity of Lake Orion, 3070 S Baldwin Rd, Orion MI 48359, this weekly series has continued since 2001 in various venues. Always a great time.

Monday November 9, 6:00. Hackley Public Library, 316 W. Webster Ave. Muskegon, MI 49440. Sponsored by the Friends of Hackley Public Library, this series features a wide variety of music, so we feel fortunate to have been chosen to participate. It's worth going just to enter and look around this very cool modern library in a beautiful historic building in downtown Muskegon.

Saturday November 14, 8:00.  Seven Steps Up, 116 S. Jackson, Spring Lake, MI. Ruth will be performing solo as she opens for one of her favorites, Cheryl Wheeler. This listening room brings in some of the finest talent on the road today. Get your tickets in advance for a great listening experience with a full bar.

Saturday November 21 Crazy Wisdom Bookstore and Tea Room, 114 South Main Street
Ann Arbor, MI48104. Upstairs in this amazing new age bookstore is a great little cafe/tea room that features live music every weekend. Check it out any Friday or Saturday.
