Mid-September? Already?

Dear ,

Where did the summer go? After a few chilly days here in West Michigan we're back into a stretch of warm days and crisp Autumn nights. Actually, it's our favforite time of the year. In our little vegetable garden the beans are all done, the tomatoes are about there, too, and the carrots and a new crop of lettuce are still growing. Meanwhile, the surrounding sunflowers are just past their peak, and the deer and turkeys are frequent visitors.

We are looking forward to some interesting and fun appearances in the next month. A big one for sure is right in our home town at the Michigan Irish Music Festival. We have sets on Saturday Sept. 16 at 11:15am as we join forces with The Carl Webb Band and 5:00pm as a duo, and on Sunday at 1:15pm again with Carl Webb. We've worked up some Irish and "Irishy" material in addition to some of our usual selections. We WILL have fun, and we hope to see a lot of our friends from West Michigan and beyond.

The following Sunday we travel a short way to New Era, Michigan's Trintity Lutheran Church for a concert to benefit the Food Pantry there. They feed about a 150 families in need each month and we hope for a  good turnout. Will you join us, please?

Next we jump to October 7 when we again head just a short drive north of home for Hippie Fest Michigan. Advance tickets are required for Hippie Fest, so head for their evenbrite page to secure your admissionTickets are only $5!

So that's our news for now...

Oh... We have a special announcement coming very soon. It's something we've been working on for a long time, and it's something we hope you'll really like, so keep your eyes peeled.

Thanks,
Ruth and Max
